Description

My mom has always told me that of all the Disney heroines, I'm most like Belle :XD: I'm very bookish and I have brown eyes and brown hair :D

I had a hard time deciding which scene I wanted to paint ^^; I love all her outfits so it was a tough call...I decided to be a little different though cuz most people paint the blue or the gold dress. I also love this scene, where she realizes she's falling for Beast

So guess I'm working on a series now lol Hope you enjoy ^^

Right away, I can already tell you that the background is lovely.
The colors you use come straight out of a fantasy and bring me into the wonderful stories of disney all over again. The soft glow and blended colors are the reason for this which I believe is a good technique that conveys the tone of the scene.
On of the things that I want to point out is her eyes. Her lashes and outline of the eye feel too strong and single toned. You have such amazing variation of color in the snow and tree, why not add it to her eyelash? It's a small detail, but I think it would effect her face greatly because with a less powerful color than black, it would soften her eyes even more and add to the feel around her. If you want to stay black, I might suggest thinner lines that are softer.
Another small detail is the white puffs on her cloak. I felt that it was a little hard to differentiate the white from the snow right away. I can see you darkened the snow around it a bit, but I think whitening the clock to be brighter would work better. I enjoy colors that show strong contrast, but the darkened snow just didn't feel right as a halo around her.
I remember this scene in Beauty and the Beast very clearly, and I can strongly say, I enjoy your Belle in this scene a lot more than her original quirky face! Her relaxed expression fits the snowy background well, and I think you did a great job on your impression of this scene.
